Inazuma Scissors Kurosuoba
The Kurosuoba is constructed with an innovative blade crossover technology and has had an astonishing influence on the understanding of how scissors function. It has a meticulously designed channel at the pivot of the scissors. As the blades crossover the channel, they continuously remain perfectly aligned to achieve a precise cut with every closure.
Without the channel, when scissors blades crossover, there is a tendency to apply thumb pressure; particularly if the tension has loosened, as this decreases or decreases the space between the blades producing an inefficient cutting edge.
The Kurosuoba channel encourages stylists to adopt superior Upper Hand Control, which is the holding of the scissors with a stress-free hand. The benefit is that it eliminates the needless tendency of exerting pressure from pushing or pulling against the thumb ring while moving the blades. The blades are always fully aligned, and every closure of the scissors will be smooth and precise.
The handle is enhanced with an ergonomic finger ring with a permanent finger rest that aligns the fingers securely on the handle. The thumb ring is ergonomic and has a sculpted medium width band. When the thumb is placed slightly on its perimeter it allows the fingers to easily achieve a wide range of radial and directional movements, with minimal bending or turning of the wrist. The handle rings are available in S-M-L.
The Kubic blade is historically known to be efficiently strong with brutal power. It is constructed with a perfect balance of length, width, and height. This initiates a downward force to the blades center of gravity to achieve the most precise cut. Inazuma Scissors manufactured this blade with Powder Steel, Takefu Ultracobalt, to provide an accurate edge that has longevity.
